Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

Among a list of great movies released this weekend lies Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. This release has me reminiscent of Christmas Day, two year ago, when we originally met the duo of Robert Downey Jr. (Holmes) and Jude Law (Watson).

Immortals had me sucked in the moment that I saw the trailer. Being a red-blooded American, I saw the battles, swords, and shields and knew I had to see it. Let me tell you, in the order of epic ass-kicking, Immortals takes the cake.

Puss in Boots

I’m a complete sucker when it comes to animated films. Whether it be Finding NemoWall-E or Toy Story, there’s just something about these movies that draw me in. Puss in Boots is no different. From start to finish, I loved pretty much everything from Puss.

Killer Elite

Killer Elite is everything that you would expect from a Jason Statham movie. He’s kicking ass and killing anything that stands in his way. You say you’ve heard this before? Oh yeah, that’s because it’s the same as every other role the guy has ever played.

Okay, I’ve got to be completely up-front and honest about this one. I may or may not happen to have a bit of a man-crush on Ryan Gosling. I mean come on, the dude is good looking, charming, and after watching Drive, a total and complete freakin’ badass.

Contagion defines Contagion as the communication of a disease by direct or indirect contact. After watching this film, there is no way that I will be able to shake hands, touch a door knob or use a public bathroom without thinking of the term.
